History

In 1969 the Pitsillides family started Nora Furnishings Ltd and we are proud to say that the Company is still family owned and run to this day.

In that time Nora has built an enviable reputation for the production of quality and innovative office furniture enabling us to become one of the leading manufacturers of office furniture in Cyprus. From our purpose built 4,600m2 production plant in the industrial area on the outskirts of Nicosia we supply a broad range of products to meet our clients individual design and layout requirements.

We are proud that we are certified to meet the exacting ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmental Standards, secure in the knowledge that this will ensure our clients receive a consistently high level of quality, design and service and at the same time respecting environmental and ecological concerns. Every product is rigorously tested and certified to meet EU standards.

Nora boasts a wide and varied clientele including small and medium businesses through to large and multi-national organisations confirming our ability to partner flexibility with commercial acumen and the recognition that budgetary awareness must be considered when tailoring designs to meet each client’s individual needs.

We also count many Offshore Companies as well as Banks and Insurance Groups from the Financial sector amongst our clients and in addition, Local and National Government Departments, Schools, Universities and Colleges from the educational sector as well as Hotels and Theatres in the Leisure Industry recognise our expertise and continue to have Nora fulfil their office furnishing needs.

In addition to our business in Cyprus we enjoy a growing export business mainly to Greece, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and the UK. .

The Nora design team ensures it consults with the client at every stage of the

planning process, providing detailed drawings where necessary, in order to

ensure we fully meet, as a minimum, and where possible exceed, the client’s brief and expectations. This means that the client is fully consulted and comprehends the benefits of our proposal.

Nora sources products of the highest quality from a variety of specialist suppliers

around the globe. Chairs, office accessories and other equipment perfectly

complement our wide range of home produced ranges.

We offer a comprehensive after‐sale capability through our specialist repair

department, ensuring a continuous, ongoing service.
